Juventus have the highest wage bill in Serie A with Paul Pogba the Bianconeri’s top earner on €4.5m.
Gazzetta Dello Sport published a full list of Serie A salaries for the coming season and it seems Italian clubs are spending more than before.
Juventus top the largest overall wage bill in the league, paying out €124m in total with Pogba and Gigi Buffon at the top of the list.

Juve’s Max Allegri is the second highest earning coach in the league netting €3.5m with Inter’s Roberto Mancini leading the list on €4m.

A full break-down of Juve salaries is outlined below:

Khedira gets this much salary? Wow
He was free. So his salary doesn’t really matter up to a certain point. What mattered was convincing a free player of his quality to come to us over other teams where he’s guaranteed to start and would probably make more.
Yeah of course, agreed on that. But how is this received in the rest of the team? He gets more than Marchisio does, that’s so fucked up man.
Maybe because Marchisio woud accept a lower salary than Khedira would. Marchisio is more Del Piero standard and loves to play for Juve, while Khedira can pick out the best salary and play whereever. I understand your point but it’s different.
– Sell Pogba (He’ll go anyway) , Zaza , Padoin.
– Buy Nicola Sansone , Daniele Baselli in january.
– Rugani instead Chiellini.
– Play pressing in front, not back backwards.
– Play 4.3.3

Cuadrado———Morata———-Dybala
I assume you want to sell Pogba in the winter transfer break? Why would any decent club sell someone important that time? If you mean next summer, I doubt Cuadrado will stay after his loan expire.
And why do you assume Morata stays if you’re so sure about Pogba leaving? Makes no sense to me.
I think Pogba wants out already … He’s a goner next year for sure.
I’m wondering what Pogba would think reading this site. He keeps saying he’s happy in Turin but 90% of the fans say sell him because they have no trust whatsoever in him staying. People thought last year he would leave, people thought this year he would leave, he’s still here have a little fucking faith in him.
So giving Pogba that #10 shirt was a mistake… what kind of twat says “I don’t know how long I’ll stay”… especially after he got the #10 jersey and being the highest earner in the squad. Absolutely no class. This new age is going to hell…
He said that after snubbing Chelsea and adding he has no reason to leave Juve and he enjoys it here. Journalists keep asking the same question over and over, he just stated he doesnt know what future holds for him. Reportedly Juve would have sold him but he blocked it himself, he could have tripled his wages by leaving already.
He has a contract he respects and stays here after 3 key players left. if Juve did try to sell him after all, he cant possibly know his future.
Give him some credit man
I’m not convinced with him as the #10 (even when he was in form last year)… he should have kept his #6… it belonged to Scirea so it has its own weight and Pogba had the opportunity to make it iconic again. I think the #10 should have been saved for a long time/actual #10… And I do think he’s very likely to leave much before he actually reaches his potential deserving of that jersey ,thanks to all money that’s being pumped into football…
Also, when you’re one of the leaders of a major squad like Juve, you need to know how to handle the press constantly bugging you. Its just a part of being and important player.
I agree about the #10, but if anyone in this squad was to have it, I don’t mind it being Pogba. He’s a great player, but he’s not a leader. Not even close. It’s just financially interesting of course, your biggest star and talent, with more or less the right skillset for a #10.
He’s 22, I really think you just read too much into this comment. He just says like, listen I don’t know what will happen, next question please
Pogba isn’t a leader, he’s just a really great player. At least in my eyes this is what he is
any questions for our City blogger ? We’re doing another Q&A 😉
Awesome! Lets see, first things I’m thinking of.
City has been a real domestic force for the last few years, but not so much in Europe. Is this season going to better for City?
Who do you consider the biggest threat in groups, CL runners up Juve or double EL winners Sevilla?
Dzeko and Jovetic have left City for Serie A, is this for better or worse for City?
Juve and city havent played each other much yet, last time it was in EL groups and ended in 2 draws. What do you expect of our next 2 encounters?
Pellegrini or Allegri?
Best XI made with players from both teams?
Cant think of anything else at the moment..
you’re always my go to guy ! Grazie !
Haha thanks man, hope you can use some of these!
Maybe he made that comment with a hint of optimism and not pessimism. As in, “I don’t know how long I’m going to stay, because I don’t know when Marotta will sell me. I’m fine here.”
We’ll be doing a Q&A with a Man city blog ahead of the CL game next week – What questions do you want answered ?
(Dutch, I’m looking at you – You always post great questions)
Me? Maybe you mean Belgian? He’s better than me.
We probably know more about Man City than Man City fans do … Like Honestly, who was a Man City fan 6-7 years ago?
your so fucking right!!
Modern Man City fans might not even know they are from Manchester, they think they’re from Qatar.
I’m jealous of Padoin. I’m pretty sure i can be of more use to him based on football qualities, yet he gets the big money and i don’t. Juve please take me over him!!
I was wondering quite a lot about him (too much even). He is probably the only person in football who isn’t affected by form at all. I’m sure he can’t even get sick, or he just recovers instantly when he is called up.
Could you do this too?
I never get sick, so yeah no problem. At highest i don’t feel well for 2/3 days a year. You see, me and Padoin are both robots. We have been programmed with certain skills, for Padoin it wasn’t footballing skills. I can assure you i was made alot trickier than he was. I am the 2.0 version!
