Despite reports of a deal with Manchester United, Mino Raiola says Paul Pogba may not leave Juventus.
A number of British newspapers have reported that a deal is in place for United to purchase the French midfielder for a staggering €120m.
Speaking to the Times, Raiola has reiterated Juve’s firm intention to keep the player in Turin.
“There is a lot of talk about Paul’s future, but maybe he will not leave Juventus,” Raiola told the paper.
“He is in no rush to leave, and Juventus do not want him to go. They want him to renew his contract.
“Paul is not desperate to move. We are very happy at Juventus and they are a club that want to keep their star players.
“Juventus have treated Paul exceptionally well. They are a fantastic club and they believe in him.”
I just read Bonucci might leave us for the Premier League. Any source of truth in that?
ive seen that in eurorivals.com, and coughtoffside.com, which are the sites i usually follow for general transfer talk…Man City are willing to give us 60 Mill, Chelsea and Conte want him as well but i think they oferred 50Mill…They best bump that pricetag up
The only Premier League club i can really see him play at is Chelsea because of Conte. All the players were hooked on that man.
Lets hope he just stays with us.
oh man i wish we could Swap Hazard for Bonnuci (have cuadrados spot covered, probably even Morata’s) but ..thats only a Wet dream although if Conte wants Bonucci that bad…i dont believe in Jesus, but Disney has showed me that Miracles do happen XD
If Bonucci leaves, will our backline be as strong as it is now? Probably not. I think you’re underestimating how important he is for our defence. Hazard isn’t gonna make up for that.
i think so.. IDK i just dont rate him as highly as everybody else, i dont think he is indispensable, and true=st Brazagli and chiellini more, and they will be active this season so…..Frankly though if we get 60mill+ ontop of some thriftiness, We could finally afford our class A striker within a season. I see it as a possible outcome because our weak attack is what has us down and what keeps us from being on par with Barca the Madrids and Bayern, and loosing Bonucci wont make our whole defence Fall Apart..i dont think.
they both pulled back cos they do not want to meet our valuation of the player.
hmm to bad Arsenal dosent want him, i wouldn’t mind a Bonucci for Sanches swap
I would..
I don’t think it will happen – The same news is coming from Juve – He’s not for sale.
I just read now that Juve may loan out Rugani for the season to give him regular playing time. No way they do that if Bonucci is leaving, even if Benatia arrives.
I really hope what you read on Rugani is not true. If we are going to play with 3 CB, we need 5 in the squad. Benatia is a replacement for Caceres, not Rugani.
thats the way it should be – 5 CB’s to cover 3 slots if we’re playing 3-5-2. Can’t make do with 4 when Chiellini is injury prone and Barzagli is nearing the end of his playing time.
Bonucci can’t be sold. We can replace Pogba more easily than Bonucci. Good quality CB’s are not easy to come by, let alone ball playing CB’s that have matured in the way Bonucci has.
I really want Marotta to say some things tomorrow about Both players’ futures.
Bonucci belongs in Italy and more precisely he belongs with us. He was there when we finished 7th, he experienced one of our most horrible seasons in club history and he experienced our way back to the top and had a major impact on that. He’s grown so much, there’s no way he can leave now. He’s turning into the leader in our defence and the past 2 seasons i’d rate him higher than Chiellini at least.
Good to hear Juve say he’s not for sale.
This statement is not fair to pogba.
“We can replace Pogba more easily than Bonucci””
I’d agree with Rav’s statement. Bonucci is one of the finest centrebacks on the planet, established at the top level, huge wealth of experience, able to lead and dominate more often than not. Paul still has a way to go in terms of consistency and decision making. He was nowhere near as consistent as others in the squad last term, Bonucci for one, Dybala for another, Buffon and Barzagli also.
idk i mean we got Barzagli and Chielini still…Rugani has great potential …there is also hummels and ramos and Kompany and others we can buy next transfer season or two over (time Rugani has to grow), Sure good midfielders arent hard to come buy but at pogbas level or potential it is, that’s like saying Ronaldo and Bale and Messi are easy to replace..I mean sure you can get countless of good players who play the wings extremely well..but not at their level and form. I a hundred times rather lose Bonucci than Pogba, i actually see 60 Mill from Man City as a fair trade ..though i would be in heaven if we could swap for Hazard…realisticly it would be more like a swap for Matic or Oscar maybe 🙁
i dont think rugani will leave. we just realy pushing to have the best team in years to win the CL next year.
he should renew soon, 6m per season
My money after Raiola (can we just nickname him ‘The Devil’…) spoke is that Pogs won’t be leaving. Truth is (and social media confirms this) most Man U fans would be really scratching their heads as to why they were paying so very much money for him based on his Euros performances. I think for that kind of money they expect a game changer in the vein of Bale, Messi or Ron, and he did not show enough of that for France (even if playing out of position).
Jose’s call of course, but it would not surprise me if Utd’s interest cooled off now.
Yea im kind of Glad for that …but for us he has made the same difference as Bale and Ronaldo and Messi have …Maybe Not every singl game but yea for a few. I mean even Messi Ronaldo and Bale flop now and then. Messi floped in his final against Chile.
buffon
barzagli Bonucci Chiellini
Alves Pogba Khediera/Marchisio Pjanic Sandro
Dybala
Pjaca
CL coming to Turin.
Pogba has been less than impressive for France playing on the left, and he is always less impressive for Juve playing on the left. No chance we will move him to the left!
Also…from what I know of Pjaca he is a winger, at best a wide forward, not at all suited to leading the line as his skills are in top gear when picking up the ball deep and charging at defenders. Which lends to a 4-3-3.
hes on the right in the formation above 🙂
Ive been watching Pjaca on youtube, seems like he can play both winger and striker. not sure about his positioning . But i think they bought him to play along dibble
Even if he’s a striker, is he good enough to be our striker?
From what ive seen on youtube…Yes..but as a Sub..No way is he our main guy, nor is he our starter or here to fill for Cuadrado or Morata….I see him more like a Future star, Probably our main (ST/LW/RW) 2-3 Seasons/Years from now..Again this is just from what ive seen on youtube; as i ddidnt see any Crotia Games this Euro Cup and sure as hell have never seen a Craotian team play soccer hell i dont even know the name of their League and never heard of Dynamo Sagsburg or whatever his old team was
It’s Zagreb. Dynamo it’s the name of the team (a used name trough the eastern Europe in football teams) and Zagreb it ‘s the name of the city that happens to be the capital of Croatia. I don’t know from where you are but you should learn a thing or two about basic geoagraphy. Oh and by the way, Salzburg it’s in Austria. (Red Bull Salzburg it’s the football team).
i was close enough at least i got the first part right. its not to much about knowing geography its more being comfortable with which i’m guessing is a Slavic tongue, I can hardly pronounce Zagreb let alone remember it’s spelling, just acknowledging it starts with and s/z sound, on top of that Croatia being an obscure small country with an even more obscure smaller league…so yea i mean even after this chat 2 days from now ill still be calling it Dynamo s/z- something
Ok :)) you can do as you want. But in my opinion it’s just basic knowledge to know at least the capitals of every country. Yes, it’s not really geography but in my country at this course you learn the cities from around the world and anyway, it’ kind of like need with geography. Yes, if I’m not mistaken it’s a Slavic language. ( I’m not from Croatia)
From what country are you?
Btw Croatia it’s not an obscure country in Europe in my opinion. You could say that about Kosovo or Bosnia and Herzegovina :))
Just to reply on both of you at the same time, Dynamo Zagreb is a pretty well known club in Europe. Not a big one, but they frequently perform in the Champions League. I think they are the only team i know from Croatia, but following the CL you can’t get around them. Sadly i remember them the most from when they screwed over Ajax and let Lyon walk over them 8-1 or something so Ajax would drop out of the CL.
Croatia were pretty decent during the Euros, had an impressive group stage run, even defeating Spain 2-1, i expected them to reach the semis and possibly even the final from that side of the schedule. However they were disappointing in the knock out stage and lost to Portugal (the eventual winners, but they shouldn’t have survived this match).
Our Mandzukic is also from Croatia.
Bogdan, where are you from? Bogdan sounds like it could be from Croatia, i think there’s a Croatian basketball player named Bogdanovic with his last name.
Bogdan it’ s a Slavic name but I’m from Romania (we kind of have a mix of Latin and Slavic names. And yes, you are right about Croatia, I felt the same about them at Euro.
pogba play on the left for juve mate, on the right for france, khedira is on the right at juve
I am well aware of this, cheers Kp…was a little too deep into the bottle…yet my point remains the same. Pogba’s game changes dramatically when he is moved out of his central left midfield role at Juve. Perhaps he can play more central, yet he has never impressed on the few outing on the opposite flank. Whereas Sami looks fine there, and to play him in the middle would reduce his value higher up the field. Not yet sold on anyone naturally backing up that role. Sturaro seems more useful there than Lemina, who may be a better back-up in Pogba’s role…yet what of Asamoah eh?
but i think he’s put in some great performances on right, just remember his first goal came from right, the rocket from distance, when he started to play for us he usualy switched positions with vidal over the match and i dont see it that dramatic playing him on right, pogba is 23 and still has plenty of room to improve every aspect of his game. i dont like sturaro at all, just another padoin imo, though, he can still get better , but i really like lemina, he got potential, more gifted than sturaro, he just has to work on concentration and some tactical part of the game, gotta avoid stupid fouls . if he can handle it , he will do great things .
lol, the bottle, alcohol makes things different i know lol

Jesus christ! i could not have said it better myself….its like we are the same person XD
lol
I guess I am referring to the odd occasion I saw him play on the right last season, at Juve, to accommodate the return of Asamoah and what I have seen of him for France, where he has played on the right, and also deeper, or with less instruction to bomb forward. In these roles he looks underwhelming…yes yes! he has plenty of time to improve his versatility.
As for Sturaro…I believe he has a significantly higher technical level, far more menacing snarl and bite, stronger pace and athleticism than dear Padoin. Also, Stefano has been rather unfortunate with injuries over the last 6 months. Definitely superior to Simone on many levels, by my reckoning!
Too tricky to judge Lemina given he barely featured. Though seems more comfortable moving forward with the ball. And there seems interest in his signature from england and beyond, so perhaps he will have to wait longer for a chance at Juve or never find one. Sitll, seems most likely he will remain at the club; its not in line with the club ethos to sign players at senior level merely as capital to be moved on for profit. I expect to see him soon here in melbourne, where I will attend the Melbourne Victory game.
Padoin is far too sensible and lacking agility to ever attempt this>>>

pogba looked lost in this france midfield, he never found his rhytm, didnt see much of a ball and it made him frustrated imo, but look, even messi had to get use to life with NT, there is too much pressure put on pogba when he plays for france, every one expect him to be the leader etc, but maybe it is too early, we saw the situation when we began our last season, pogba was shadow of himself, he tried but it didnt work, but when marchisio got back it was different story.pogba will be leader, but needs little more time. this was his 3rd full season at top level, i dont count the first one with us.Now sturaro, of course is better , much better than our gone king pado lol, but i just dont see him as juve material, i hope he will prove me wrong and if he can improve , i dont mind if we keep him. asamoah? hm , no idea where to put the guy, if chelsea really sent us 20m offer, sell him asap.
Slightly off topic, Did anyone see the Germany vs Italy U19 game? I’m thinking we really need to Alex Meret as a replacement for our Gigi or somehow manage to poach Donnarumma from Milan if we are to maintain this defensive unit. I’d rather throw big money at Donnarumma (like we did for Buffon and also because Raiola would aid in that race) but Meret was just super-human in that game. I haven’t really seen him play otherwise but he showed real potential.
I am including a little of this in my upcoming youth report…Captaining the U19 side for the U19 championship is Juve’s primavera CB FIllipo Romagna, who played the full 90 against the Germans. Also in the squad is Juve right right winger Francesco Cassata, who appeared for the last 20 from the bench. Both are very highly thought of at Vinovo. Austria and Portugal are the other two in our group.
I have been thinking about our keeper situation too. Buffon wont last forever. Is Leali good enough to take over? Or do we need someone like Donnarumma? Or what are we gonna do?
Would love Donnarumma… I think since we gave them Pippo all those years ago, they owe us someone of that stature and Gigi (Donnarumma) would be the perfect fit.
How do you watch this?
I focus… alot
Yea Meret seems to have the Talent to eventually fill buffons shoes but so does Mattia Perin..i would be happy with either
