Wojciech Szczesny says when Juventus tried to sign him, his ‘choice was already made’ and he sees himself in Turin for the long-term.

Speaking in an interview with La Domenica Sportiva, broadcast on Rai Due, the Polish international spoke about his time at Juventus so far and how he sees his career in Turin.

Ten years at Juventus

“When Juve calls you, the choice is already made,” the keeper told the TV channel.

“Juventus have the ambition to win and are among the top three-four clubs [in the world].

“I came to win everything and I made a choice, not just for this season, even if I’m playing more than I thought, but for the next ten years, I still see myself here, after ten years.”

A song for the Champions League

“How do I see myself as a goalkeeper? Strong… If we go to the Kiev [Champions League] final, I’ll write another song for my wife: ‘We are the Champions.'”

On Gigi Buffon

“How is it to train together with Buffon? I was the happiest guy in the world when we exchanged T-shirts after Roma-Juventus two seasons ago, I never would have imagined i’d get to train with him.”
