Juventus and Paulo Dybala will continue to make the headlines until the attacker signs a new deal or leaves the club.
Both parties have been in talks over a contract extension for some time now, but fans are still waiting for him to sign on the dotted line.
The injury-plagued Argentinian remains one of the most important players at the Allianz Stadium, but the Bianconeri are not willing to break the bank to keep him.
Some reports suggested he has agreed to the terms of a contract extension with the club, only for the Bianconeri to reduce their offer.
This is not something the former Palermo man likes, and that has the potential of making him leave the club.
Sky Sports Italia via Football Italia is now reporting that Juve has withdrawn their previous contract offer to him altogether.
It claims the Bianconeri are prepared to allow him to leave for free if he won’t accept a pay cut.
Juve FC Says
This situation has deteriorated quickly, and it is hard to see it ending with this relationship remaining how it was.
Understandably, Dybala wants a new mega-money deal that would reflect his position in the squad.
However, the club also has to consider his poor fitness record and cannot commit so much money to a player who cannot guarantee that he would stay fit for much of a campaign.
Pay the man!
We have nobody remotely close to his skills in the squad & no one on the transfermarket (we can afford &/or who is interested)
– yes, Chiesa has slills as a breakthrough player but not Dybalas level of vision & creativity.
Don’t forget his achievenents for us.
That payrise is way overdue, considering the money we threw (away) at Ronaldo & De Ligt earning more than Dybala etc. etc.
Pay the man or prepare for years of mediocracy!
“Dybala wants a mega-money deal” we were paying Ronaldo 30 million a year, but 10 million for Dybala is too much? You have to be kidding me, Dybala deserves better than how this club has treated him. Juve FC would rather defend a 33 year old who came to the club for three years destroyed our finances than a player who has reiterated his love for this club and has played here for 7 years. It embarrassing.
Sorry to disagree, but time to go. His comments after Udinese show he is not professional, and how many matches a season will you get him for? The more it goes on the more he will throw ronaldo strops that affect the whole team. Saying in public your own team is basically useless is a disgrace. We can invest the wages saved on very high quality or one or two solid improvements. IF his injuries were once every two or three seasons, sure of course, but it`s getting comical, and his `performance` post-match as CAPTAIN was not a good look at all.
So, we are willing to shell out €30-35m per season for Ronaldo, but aren’t willing to give Dybala €10m per season to Dybala? It makes no sense to me. I hope we don’t make this mistake.
First of all I didnt like that we bought Ronaldo and I still dont like it. He was 33 at that time but he scored the goals with double frequency compared to Pablo.
But it was different time when he arrived. And Juve as club is very happy now to not have to pay his wages anymore.
Juve has very bad economic results. I believe that no one gets that high salary contract anymore. At least in the near future. And I think that Juve will sell De Ligt if they get the right offer.
So if we have the financial results as we did in pre Covid times then sure Dybala could get the 10 mils per season. But now I dont believe he can get that.
Juve if will let Dybala to go and Morata , Juve will struggle a lot. Dybala and Morata they are the key players forward line. Chiesa this season is over.
