The agent of Napoli full-back Elseid Hysaj believes there would be no problem for his client to join the Bianconeri this summer.

Agent Mario Giuffredi represents Fiorentina’s Jordan Veretout and Napoli’s Elseid Hysaj, both of whom are expected to leave their respective clubs this summer. The duo are expected to take the step up to teams in the European elite this summer and you can get a Pinnacle Vip Code and the latest odds on Champions League favourites for next season.

For his part, Hysaj has been linked with a move away from Naples for a while now and a possible switch to Turin is on the horizon, according to reports from the Italian press, where he could be reunited with his former coach, Maurizio Sarri.

Speaking to Radio CRC this afternoon, Giuffredi addressed the rumours about Hysaj’s immediate future amid reports that a €18m bid from Atletico Madrid has already been rejected:

“The Atletico Madrid offer was very low and does not reflect the value of the player. It was under €25m, that’s all I can say. Napoli set the price, not me, but Elseid may well want to try an experience abroad and who can turn down Atletico Madrid?

“The lad confessed this quite openly and did not mean to offend the Napoli fans. The moment has come to try new experiences, it’s not insulting to Napoli or belittling what he’s achieved here.

“Why shouldn’t Hysaj go to Juve? He’s a professional. I do not accept the use of this word ‘traitor’ in football, they are all professionals and do what they consider right for their careers,” continued the agent.

“Juve are the most important club in Italy and they requested Hysaj two years ago, but he decided to remain at Napoli and hoped to win the Scudetto here.”

The Bianconeri have hinted that they may sell Joao Cancelo this summer in order to make a profit on their initial investment in the player, leaving room open for a new right-back at the club.

Maurizio Sarri is expected to leave Chelsea this week, having finalised a severance between Juventus and the Blues which would release him to take charge of the Bianconeri bench.

Hysaj is a firm favourite of the former Partenopei coach and Juve could be interested in bringing him to Turin as they look to accommodate the new coach and his specific playing style and 4-3-3 system.
