Juventus are following Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak as they look to reinforce the midfield ahead of the new season.
The Bianconeri are monitoring the market for a new midfielder and despite having strong interest in Steven N’Zonzi and Nemanja Matic, their attention has turned elsewhere.
Accoring to Plaza Deportiva, Juve are closely following Polish midfielder Krychowiak, having watched the player recently during a friendly match between the two clubs.
Competition for the 27-year-old may be steep as Valencia are also reportedly hoping to acquire Krychowiak who does not feature in Coach Unai Emery’s plans for the coming season.
The defensive midfielder only featured in a handful of games in 2016/17, making just 11 starts in the league.

Krychowiak was never going to fit into a PSG team that “tries” to play like Barca. In Sevilla, Krychowiak was responsible for midfield defensive duties only and those he has at the highest level. The way Sevilla played was kind of like Juve or Athletico Madrid plays in the Champions League. He could have a role at a team like Juve and a league that values tactical/defensive skills. He could never play for a team like Napoli, Arsenal or similar attacking teams. They expect all their midfielders to have good attacking skills. Krychowiak does not. But as a DM he is still world class. On a less significant note….In the Polish national team him and Szczesny (new Juve player) are best buddies……
Juve have not lined up with 2 defensive mids for a long time! Often not even one competent one!
You have Khedira who is a typical DM. Pjanic is not….more of a # 8 then a typical six…When you play with a back 3….you could do well with a midfielder that specializes in supporting the defensive line. Juve coaches are smart enough to know that….hence they are looking at these type of players.

Buy Krychowiak. He’s a great def midfielder who went to the wrong club, and everyone makes mistakes. He just needs to shake the rust off from inactivity at that snob Arab-French club. A yeat ago he was in La Liga’s TOTS…. won two historic titles with Sevilla, larhely due to his presence.
