Juventus are targeting Edinson Cavani for the summer, making him the priority ahead of Radamel Falcao or Paulo Dybala.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, the Bianconeri have drawn up a shortlist of players and PSG’s Urugyuan striker is the priority target for the summer.

The Italian daily go on to report that preparations are already underway for the August with 29-year-old Cavani believed to be a favourite of coach Max Allegri who missed the opportunity to bring the striker to Milan.

Gazzetta believe Cavani will spend a season alongside Carlos Tevez before the Argentine’s contract ends and he inevitably joins Boca Juniors, allowing Cavani to take over the ’10’ shirt.

Negotations between the two sides would not factor in Paul Pogba, despite the Parisians’ desire to sign the French midfielder.
