According to Tuttosport, Gianluigi Buffon and President Andrea Agnelli have reached an agreement to extend the legendary goalkeepers contract until 2021.
According to the Turin based daily, the 42-year-old will extend his contract with the Bianconeri until 2021 after speaking with the club President last week.
The deal will be the same as the one he currently has with the club, however the coronavirus pandemic has precented the contract from being formalised.
Despite the delay, the report suggests that the when restrictions in the country ease, Gigi will meet with Agnelli and director Fabio Paratici to make it official.
