Giorgio Chiellini and Andrea Barzagli are close to renewing their contracts at Juventus.

The veteran defenders have played a vital role over the last six seasons and it’s reported that the pair will sign new deals with the club, effectively taking them to the end of their playing careers.

Tuttosport report that despite both players being out of contract in June, they will sign new contracts in the coming days with Chiellini expected to sign a multi-year contract.

Barzagli will sign a one-year extension, keeping him with the club until June 2019, with an official announcement on both deals expected in the coming days.
