Matthijs De Ligt believes Juventus are improving with each game and believes he wouldn’t be at Juventus if he couldn’t handle the pressure.

The 20-year-old played a vital role in the Bianconeri’s 1-0 victory over Atletico Madrid, helping Juve keep another clean sheet in a vital game.

“We saw improvement today, although there are some aspects we need to improve both as a team and individually,” the defender told Sky Sport Italia.

“It’s still only November and we’re making progress. We can still improve our style of football.

“Barca? When you arrive at a club as important as Juve, there is pressure, but I wouldn’t be here if I couldn’t handle it. I had to adapt to a new system, but I am satisfied with the way things are going.

“I want to enjoy this moment, I am satisfied and very happy to be here.”
