Reports from Spain suggest there is a 95% chance of Matthijs De Ligt joining Juventus this summer.

The Dutch centre-back is reportedly the subject of a bidding war involving Juventus, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain with a decision on his future expected in the coming week.

Catalunya Radio journalist Oriol Domenech appeared on their TV show ‘Club de la Mitjanit’ yesterday and proclaimed that De Ligt was “95% at Juventus” next season.

According to Domenech, De Ligt has decided that next season he will play in Turin, but left over a 5% chance that Barcelona may attempt to make a last minute bid.

He also stated that De Ligt’s contract will have an release clause in it, similar to what has been reported by Sky Sport Italia and others who suggest that the clause will increase after a year.

The 19-year-old is reportedly still on vacation in the Bahamas and is expected to return this week, ahead of the opening of the transfer window next Monday.
