According to reports from Italy, Juventus could finalise the details for Emre Can’s free transfer to Juventus in the coming week.
The German international is reportedly ‘in hand’ for the Bianconeri with only a few details to be finalised, and that could take place over the next seven days.
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, Juventus are confident about securing the 24-year-old on a free transfer with only the signatures missing.
Bayern Munich and Manchester City reportedly both made last minute attempts to sign the midfielder, however the player has apparently given his word to Juventus and wants to come to Turin. Can is expected to announce the move on 1st February when he’s officially able to finalise a move to another club, having turned down Liverpool’s option of a renewal. The agreement with Juventus is expected to be based on a 4-year contract with an option for a 5th and a salary of €5m per year.
Alongside the deal for Can, Juventus are also reportedly working on a number of other deals: A deal for Dennis Praet is supposedly agreed with Sampdoria while the Bianconeri are also working on a €30m move for Atalanta’s Bryan Cristante. Nicolò Barella is also said to be a high-priority, despite a supposed €30m price tag, while Han Kwang-Song is of strong interest to Juventus having enjoyed a strong season so far with Perugia where he plays on loan from Cagliari.
