While Juventus fans may be optimistic about their chances of winning the Italian Serie A this season, it appears that many others don’t share the same sentiment. Juventus is undeniably one of the top clubs in Serie A, and the fact that they are not participating in European competitions this season provides them with ample time for rest between games, potentially enhancing their domestic performance.

Despite these factors, Max Allegri has consistently downplayed expectations even after significant victories. Their recent triumph over AC Milan has fueled the dreams of more fans who believe they have a shot at the league title.

However, journalist Giancarlo Padovan holds a contrary view, asserting that Juventus lacks the squad necessary to secure victory in Serie A. This difference of opinion highlights the varying perspectives on the Bianconeri’s chances in the current season.

Padovan said, as quoted by Tuttojuve:

“It’s not to be contrary or even obtuse (even if I fear be), but I remain convinced that, despite the victory at San Siro, Juventus are not equipped to win the scudetto.

“First of all because they have an inadequate squad and, secondly, because they lost Pogba first (who never played ) and then Fagioli (who often played football, but not always).

“Coincidentally, two elements from the objectively weakest sector of the Bianconeri. Can Allegri play the whole season with McKennie as a starter, despite not being considered suitable even to be a reserve? Can Miretti replace Fagioli? And will Locatelli be able to have a uniform performance without indulging in mediocre performances?”

Juve FC Says

Winning the league is not an easy feat and Juve players know this, but they also want to win trophies.

Being trophyless in the last two campaigns is not ideal for the club and its players, so we expect trophy-winning performances from them all the time.
