Juventus are an option for Argentine forward Ezequiel Lavezzi, according to his advisor.

The PSG striker will be out of contract in June 2016 but it’s looking ever more likely that he could leave the club before then in an effort to cash in.

“Could Lavezzi return to Italy? Juve are an option and with regards to Inter I can say Mancini already wanted him at Manchester City,” his agent Alessandro Moggi told Mediaset.

“He earns a lot because he is an important player. There are many European sides tracking him and Italy are an option.

“I think Juve will qualify for the Champions League and have a good chance of recovery. Max Allegri had an extraordinary campaign last season and Beppe Marotta hasn’t said that if they finish outside the top three, Allegri will be fired.

“He said the minimum objective is third place, which always has to be the case for a club like Juventus. The responsibility and credit must always be shared between the club, Coach and team.

“I think the club has full faith in Allegri.”
