Juventus may still sell Paulo Dybala next summer but are considering renewing his contract in the interim.

La Joya has yet to start a competitive game for Juventus this season following a summer of transfer rumours linking him to both Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.

Corriere Torino reports that Maurizio Sarri has seemingly opted to start Gonzalo Higuain for the time being, preferring the veteran Argentine over his younger compatriot.

Despite Dybala’s lack of game time, Juve are still considering a contract renewal with talks expected to take place in the weeks ahead.

Corriere suggest that the Bianconeri will look to increase the players’ salary from €7.5 to €10m with a contract extension from June 2022 to June 2023.
