Juventus have virtually completed a deal for Atalanta players Franck Kessie and Mattia Caldara.
According to a report in La Stampa, Juventus directors Fabio Paratici and Beppe Marotta spoke with Atalanta representatives yesterday and completed the specifics for a transfer deal.
Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the duo will meet with Atalanta again next Tuesday to complete the deal, paying €25m and a further €5m in bonuses.
Juventus are believed to have beaten off interest from Inter Milan and their owners The Suning group, who were prepared to match the offer, along with Premier League side Liverpool who showed an interest.
Both players are expected to arrive at the club next summer.

Kessie looks very promising, physically strong and technically gifted midfielders are needed! He is big and powerful, yet great passing and ball control, and can burst forward and score goals! I hope Bepp finish off the deal soon!
This would be one hell of a deal folks. Caldara has trremendous potential in every aspect of his game, the kid has 3 goals in ten games as a CB, very impressive. With rugani, Caldara, Sandro, Lirola our defensive line would be all set for nearly 5-6 years in to the future. Kessie seems to be the talk of the town but honestly when Juve played Atalanta he wasn’t impressive at all, maybe it’s just one game and he was nervous being scouted by everyone. Either way, I am all for investing in youth, this looks very promising.
