Juventus have agreed a €30m deal for Valencia midfielder Andre Gomes.

With Claudio Marchisio ruled out for six months with a cruciate ligament injury, the Bianconeri are reportedly on the lookout for a versatile midfielder and they may have already found their man.

Today’s Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Juventus have an agreement for Andre Gomes who is the considered to be flexible enough to meet Allegri’s needs for next summer. The versatile Portuguese international can sit in front of the defence or can play a more advanced role, including the trequartista position.

Juventus have been tracking Gomes for some time, but the injury to Marchisio has forced Beppe Marotta to act sooner than originally planned.

Gomes will join Juventus in a deal worth €25m to €30m but there’s no mention of his salary. He joined Valencia last summer in a €15m deal from Benfica having spent a season on loan there previously.
