Looking forward to playing Juvents once again. I was lucky enough to see City play Juventus with Dino Zoff in 1976. Never forget seeing those black & white shirts warming up in the tunnel – bloody terrifying!!
Hehe, we also played a few seasons ago, we drew both games if i remember well. Looking forward to these games, City is strong yet beatable for Juve, could go either way!
Yup Europa League 2010/11. City wasn’t what it is today yet, and Juve were in their worst 2 seasons ever. I can see 2 draws happen again though.
Kinda typical we drew Sevilla, after the long Llorente transfer. This draw is good imo, City and Sevilla are good teams who will pose a challenge. We certainly could have had a far worse draw.
And looks like Roma will be fucked again this season
54% not happy with this draw, why so? Just wondering here, I think its a decent group which still gives us a good chance at finishing group leaders.
I think we got the strongest teams from pot 3 and pot 4, while the second strongest from pot 2. I was hoping for a weaker group.
They are decent teams yeah, thats true. Especially Sevilla is a tough draw to have from pot3. City is easier than they look imo. Mönchengladbach is also hit or miss, the second most likely imo
I’m more worried about Mönchengaldbach, than City to be honest. They could be tricky, while I assume City will go all out on us, which could suit us better. It’s an exciting group, I can’t wait.
The law of averages strikes again!!! In previous years, Juve have had good luck. Not so, this year. In fact, we are off to a very unlucky start if you consider our unlikely loss to Udinese. Anyway, everything will even out in the end — it is just a matter of time.
I am completly indifferent. We are the finalists, and we are a top European club, others should be worried about us.
This is gonna be a fun group. City is winning everything so far in the EPL are playing very dangerously and is obviously gonna be very tough. Haven’t been whats expected of them in Europe yet though.
Sevilla are the europa league winners for 2 straight seasons and will be tricky. Llorente and Immobile are familiar with us, i can imagine Immobile wanting to avenge himself for what happened(not sure if he played against us with Dortmund, but if he did he clearly failed that time). They have let some quality go with Aleix Vidal and Carlos Bacca, not sure what they bought apart from Immobile and Llorente.
Monchengladbach is doing terrible so far in the Bundesliga, on a good day i think they can beat us, but i’m not that afraid of them.
My prediction for this group, hoping ofcourse we can finish in 1st:
1. Manchester City
2. Juventus
3. Sevilla
4. Monchengladbach
Also, we tend to do better against strong teams than weak teams, so for us this is better than having a turkish team and a danish team along with only 1 top team.
