Cristiano Ronaldo’s future has continued to be the subject of debate for some time now.
The Portuguese star is one of the biggest players in the world and success has followed him everywhere he has played.
The attacker joined Juventus in 2018 to help them end their wait for a Champions League crown.
He has scored the goals that could help them achieve that objective, but they have fallen short each time.
Since he has been at the club, they haven’t reached the semi-finals yet.
FC Porto eliminated them from the Round of 16 stage this season and the manner of their elimination drew criticism.
Being the highest earner in the team means that he has had the most criticism and this has brought about speculation that he could leave the club.
It remains unclear if he would play for the club next season, but Corriere dello Sport via Il Bianconeri reports that Juventus has told the player and his agent that it might be best if he left the Allianz Stadium.
The report further said that the attacker also wants to say goodbye, but getting a team to pay him as much as he earns at Juve at the moment is very tough.
phew!
It will sad to see him leave but its probably for the best for both.
Swap for POGBA would be ideal.
30 million in salary…..
You can attract at least 4 good players with those wages!
I am not a fan of juve but becos of Ronaldo, I begin to watch their matches… He’s do gifted.. anyway, if other team players are United with him they could do better… but envy & jealousy is the problem in juve… another thing, good coach… Ronaldo is humble enough, so he need a team player and not those who are grievous about his salary…. the kind of work he does on his body, can they do it… let’s leave sentiment alone ooo
Ronaldo is a world class player, despite the criticism he has tremendously improved himself while those who are not happy continue to deteriorate in their performance.
It’s always good to be happy with those who are better and strive towards emulating and do what they do to become like them. I expect Ronaldo team mate to learn from him instead envy and strife which has taken the mind of some.
My interest in seria A was ignited because of Ronaldo and I know several others who love his humility, commitment, discipline and dedication to his career are also attracted to Seria A. I will advise Juv management to do more in sensitising the players to work as team and erase bitterness from the mind of some.
