Juventus have met with Sassuolo regarding their Turkish centre-back Merih Demiral.

The Bianconeri are on the look-out for long-term defensive reinforcements having already reportedly sewn up a deal for Genoa’s Cristian Romero.

Gazzetta Dello Sport’s Nicolò Schira reports that the latest name on the list is Sassuolo’s 21-year-old Merih Demiral.

The youngster arrived in the January transfer window, initially on loan with an obligation to buy, and has impressed so far, making 11 appearances and scoring 2 goals.

The Bianconeri reportedly met with his agents yesterday and proposed a five year agreement for the youngster.
