Juventus are being linked with French national team coach and former Bianconeri midfielder, Didier Deschamps.

The news comes on the back of reports that Juventus are poised to sack coach Max Allegri, despite winning the Serie A title for a record-breaking 8th consecutive time.

Reports from Sky Sport Italia had suggested that links between Juve and Pep Guardiola were tenuous at best, however Didier Deschamps and Mauricio Pochettino were two options worth noting.

Tuttosport report today that Deschamps is the favourite to take over in Turin following his season 2007 season with the club where he led Juve back to Serie A.

Problems with Juve’s management board led to his premature departure from the Bianconeri however Tuttosport suggest that Deschamps is within reach and a more likely candidate than the other names.

Juve President Andrea Agnelli and coach Max Allegri are expected to meet tomorrow to discuss the season to date as well as the plans for the future.
