Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici met with Pablo Sabbag, agent of Angel Di Maria and Leandro Paredes.

According to Sky Sport Italia and Goal.com, Paratici met with Sabbag in Rome as the Bianconeri are interested in both players with a view to a summr transfer.

Paredes confirmed that Juventus attempted to sign him in the winter transfer window, recently telling Goal:

“I was close to Juve on two occasions and I did have the opportunity to go there, but I stayed at Roma to show what I can do.”

Sky Sport suggest that despite the midfielder turning down a move to Juve, the Bianconeri may try again this summer as the club are especially interested in the 22-year-old Argentine.

Sky also suggest that Juve have taken the opportunity to enquire about the availability of 29-year-old Angel Di Maria who looks set to leave PSG in the summer. Despite Juve’s interest, competition is expected to be fierce in the race to sign the winger as Inter are among the many sides keen on the player.
