Juventus have turned down an offer from Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund for Mario Mandzukic.

Previous reports in the Italian press had suggested that the Croatian striker would make way this summer after feeling frustrated over playing on the wing as opposed to in the box.

German outlet Focus reported that Borussia Dortmund had made their interest known in the 32-year-old and were preparing an offer.

Sky Sport Italia now report that the offer has been rejected outright by Juventus management as the club don’t want to entertain offers for the forward.

The report goes on to suggest that Max Allegri considers Mandzukic ‘fundamental’ to his plans for the upcoming season and has relayed to management to resist all offers for the player.
