Juventus will reject any offers for Paulo Dybala this summer as the club prepare for a bid from Barcelona.
With Neymar’s transfer to Paris Saint-Germain all but complete, it’s reported in the Catalan media that Dybala and Liverpool’s Phillipe Coutinho are the main targets to replace the departing Brazilian.
The reports in Spain suggest Barca could bid in the region of €130-140m for La Joya, but it may not be enough to secure the Argentine.
Gazzetta Dello Sport, Tuttosport and Corriere dello Sport all report that Juve are in a position to reject all offers and do not want to sell Dybala, regardless of what’s offered.
In line with recent club policy, it’s suggested that the only way Juve would part with the young forward is if he specifically requests to leave the Bianconeri this summer.
An opinion on how Dybala would suit the formation of Barcelona or rather not, I strongly believe that Dybala is a “weaker” version of Messi. He is not comparable to Neymar who is more athletic, explosive and dominant in a certain position (Dybala like Messi suits the free role in the attack). I think that Barcelona would not gain much from signing Dybala and neither would Dybala, so lets hope that La Joya stays in a team where his qualities are needed instead of joing a team where they will drown.
This is where our policy of allowing players who ask to leave to leave. Because what if he does? What then Beppe and Mr Agnelli? Surely to maintain that policy he will have to be let go as have all the others.
