Juventus will meet with Deschamps, Allegri to leave

March 5, 2019

Reports from Italy suggest Juventus will meet with Didier Deschamps tomorrow while Max Allegri will leave the club in the summer.

The Juve manager has endured a tough season in Europe and while the Bianconeri have dominated Serie A, suggestions from some parts of the media are that it’s not enough the Bianconeri.

Italian journalist Riccardo Momblano reports that Juventus will be meeting with French coach Didier Deschamps tomorrow as President Andrea Agnelli has given a mandate to Fabio Paratici and Pavel Nedved to probe concrete and plausible options for Juventus, before arriving at the final decision on the name of next year’s coach.

The meeting is not expected to be a decisive meeting, rather they are meetings through which the Juve will evaluate before deciding on the next coach and it’s suggested that by the end of the month, or possibly sooner, Juve will hold a pre-agreement with their next coach.

According to Momblano, the one name we can exclude is Max Allegri as his time at the club is over and he is expected to leave in the summer.

The report also suggests that meetings and talks have already been held with the entourage of Pep Guardiola. At the start of his second year at Bayern, Guardiola was open to joining Juve but the club were not in a position to make a serious offer.
