Blaise Matuidi will extend his Juventus by another year, taking him to June 2021 with the Bianconeri.

The French midfielder’s contract with Juve ends in June, and he was expected to pen an extension at some stage prior to the Coronavirus outbreak in Italy.

Sportmediaset, Goal Italia and various others now report that Matuidi has agreed an extension that will keep him in Turin until 2021 with only the official announcement missing.

The 32-year-old has played an important role under new coach Maurizio Sarri and was linked with a move to Lyon and Tottenham Hotspur in recent months.
