Juventus coach Max Allegri believes ‘anything can happen’ in the Champions League Final against Barcelona.
Speaking after his side’s 3-2 aggregate victory over Real Madrid, the Bianconeri boss reflected on a memorable night and Juve’s first Champions League Final for 12 years.
“I have an extraordinary group of players. It was an impressive semi-final with chances for both sides, though we should’ve done more with our opportunities in the first half,” he told Sport Mediaset.
“We’ve earned our place in the Final and now that we’re there we hope to do well!
“In the second half they had two or three clear chances, as did we, so I cannot say anything to the team for what they did tonight and throughout the whole year.
“We’re also in the Coppa Italia Final and we have to prepare for that too, as it is an important objective.”
The Champions League Final will be played on June meaning Juve’s Coppa Italia Final against Lazio will move from June 7 to May 20.
“I knew the game would go like this tonight. I told the lads they needed courage and to play well technically.
“I think it is also important for Italian football than one of our teams is back in the Champions League Final.
“Isco and Rodriguez aren’t particularly strong defensively, so I told my players the more we push them towards their own goal, the better.
“Barcelona are an almost impossible side to play against, but it’s one thing to face them over two legs and another in a one-off match. Anything can happen there.
“We are in good physical shape, they have a stratospheric front three and we go to Berlin convinced we can bring home the trophy.”
Dude …… Can you not post 5 fuckin articles on this page so that we can generate a good fucking discussion? What the fuck is wrong with you?

Geez man, if it weren’t for him you wouldn’t /couldn’t even post here so be a bit grateful okay? Damn
I think Juventus recent form and approach to play showed in the past 3 months is enough to convince me that the final with Barcelona will be a tight game. Juventus will have to really concentrate on implementing a strategy to neutralize the effect of Suarez, messi, and Neymar.
Im fully convinced that Barzagli can take Messi. Hes a defending genius, but here lies the problem: Bonucci has been in incredible form and if i had someone to take Suarez, it would be Chiellini… soo. Idk what Allegri is going to do. I dont want us going in with a 3-5-2.
I believe Allegri should employ the 4-3-1-2. He should also give Pogba as much playing time as possible before the final. Pogba against Real was not physically fit.
u read my mind with this comment.I think Barzagli is the only one that can stop him but i would hate to bench Bonucci or go with the 3-5-2
I think the game against Barca will be pretty much the same as against Madrid. We can’t afford mistakes, have to nullify a superb attack and counter against an average defence.
We can do it, as long as we don’t make stupid mistakes and have luck on our side. And no fucking penalties against us for nothing like in Madrid
Barcelona have a stronger defense than Real. Juventus challenge will be the strong midfield they have. Barcelona’s attack rely on their midfield strength.
I don’t really agree, their defence is not better. In a 4 man defence, Marcelo, Ramos and Carvajal are the better players. Arguably Varane or Pepe over Pique too.
In any case, defence is where they are vulnerable. Midfield is incredibly strong and their attack probably the best in the world.
Their defence dropped alot when Puyol quit.
I dont get this. People keep saying Neymar Messi Suarez. Saying “oh my god these 3 are so good.”
DONT FORGET MESSI IS ONE OF THOSE PLAYERS.
For us to win will take: immaculate defending so we dont let too many chances on buffon. Buffon playing like a goddamn madman on a mission to get this trophy. And for beautiful beautiful tevez to caress the ball into its crib. Im calling a goal from Chiellini, Tevez. Messi in between the two.
Juve win 2-1.
Honestly though I am afraid of the potential PTSD from messi.
The potential what? :p
Post traumatic stress disorder.
It means going through something horrifying and having a disorder where you are reminded of it and feel the emotions you felt on that day.
Yeah I know, but what are you referring to then, did something happen to Messi or something?
Im talking about what he could do to us.
Oh alright, I really didn’t get what you meant, let’s hope this doesn’t happen :p
Messi should be afraid of the potential PTSD he might get from facing Chiellini. Every night he will wake up sweating seeing Chiellini’s face.
A Chiellini goal? Bold bet :p
Lets imagine Juve sign Del Piero for 1 day to be on the CL winning squad.
Where do I fucking sign to make this happen?
Let’s look at it like this, if there is a Spanish team Barcelona struggles with, it’s Atletico. What does Atletico have that makes things hard for them? Great motivation, pressure and teamwork. We have that too. And we did well against Atletico
Buffon will be the master for ter Stegen,Vidal/Pogba/Marchisio gets Iniestas ass, Tevez makes 2 goals, messi also two, but then Bonucci after a corner. 3:2 for JUVE.
Because Lichtsteiner will eliminate Neymar and Evra will knocked out his most enemy.
We are in the final, and we able to win the biggest trophy.
Berlin will be black and white.
Forza Juve.
Damn I don’t know but if I can perform some miracle or magic to enable us win this CL I would be soooooo fucking happy….we need to beat Barca anyway or anyhow ..lol
Especially as to get to another final won’t be easy considering how the CL is..for example this is the first time Barca with all their players returned to the final since 2011
