Patrik Schick will be the first Juventus signing this summer after Juve agreed terms with Sampdoria.
According to Genoa based Il Secolo XIX, Juventus have agreed terms with the player over a summer transfer as well as coming to an agreement with Sampdoria.
The young Czech talent has a €25m buyout clause in his contract and according to Il Secolo, Juventus will pay this in two instalments over the next two seasons.
This follows on from various other reports in Italy which all suggest that Schick will join the Bianconeri this summer.
RAI Sport reported yesterday that the21-year-old striker will sign a 5 year contract with Juventus and will remain on loan at Sampdoria for the 2017/18 season.
It’s believed Bianconeri vice-chairman Pavel Nedved played an important role in convincing the young Czech talent to join Juventus.
Looks to be an exciting young talent, obviously raw, but he will have an opportunity to learn from the best.
A couple of random observations:
.The Lad wont use his right even if his life depended on it (according to the video above)
. He is not much of a team player(Allegri will fix this)
.He must learn to try and finish his chances , not try to dribble himself in goal.
An intelligent move in line with other efforts to purchase the most obvious up and coming talent domestically. He is a good age, with brilliant close control and an eye for goal. Not sure if we will be trying to bring him to Turin for the Summer, though we do need a proper back up for Higuain.
News on De Sciglio is also pleasing, will suit us as a well grounded in Serie A football italian capable of filling Stephan’s hallowed boots.
Still believe we will need a wide forward to take the pressure of Mandzukic and Cuadrado, and who knows what will come of Alves? And then the midfield, for Lemina will surely be released, and as much as it saddens me, Sturaro may also seek regular football in his natural role elsewhere. I believe Rincon will be kept, Mandragora hopefully retained, but again this depends on our CL result and other midfield targets.
I think it’s definitely a better option to keep Schick at the club. Higuain seems a bit lethargic to me when he plays so many matches in a row, and having Schick as a backup would be useful for both players. De Sciglio’s purchase makes complete sense considering Stephan’s Juventus career will probably conclude away to Bologna this week. I can see Asamoah leaving as well if Spinazzola’s return becomes official, and he has the added bonus of taking up one of the homegrown players’ spot.
All signs point to Mandzu staying, which is what he deserves considering his performances this season. But I still retain the idea that he could possibly be replaced with a more natural LW. Sanchez for me remains the ideal signing, but is very unlikely. Keita adds a lot of versatility, but I think if Schick stays Keita won’t be coming, at least not this season. Reports suggest he might come for free next summer.
Also, with Lemina and Sturaro most likely on their way out, the midfield needs some quality reinforcement. The obvious choice is Verratti, with Tolisso as a backup, but Iniesta is an intriguing option too. Anyways, Paratici and Marotta have continuously proved themselves, so I go into this summer transfer window with no trepidation as usual.
Ideal XI 2017-18: Buffon; Alves, Bonucci, Chiellini, Sandro; Verratti, Marchisio/Khedira, Pjanic; Dybala, Higuain, Sanchez
My friend, I was referring to Samps’ repeated gesturing towards wanting to keep him in Genoa for another year at least…I agree wholly that we need a vice-Higuain. The money is paltry by the size of our purse.
I might be mistaken, but Schick seems a prima punta, his signing would have no bearing on our hunt for more strength on the flank. Whilst Keita has been playing more centrally, he is also capable on the wing. Though you might be right…Depends on the player and how our management team see his current and potential ability. Bernadeschi seems more in line with our needs. Harder worked, more naturally suited to hugging the line, yet comfortable coming in centrally to chop up the play.
If they bought him why they land him to them as loan? We need such a player just in case higuan get injured or something.
