Max Allegri has put an end to the reports that Alex Sandro may join Chelsea, saying there is “no chance” of the Brazilian full back joining the Blues.
Rumours have persisted in the English press of a Chelsea bid for Juve’s left-back but Allegri was bullish about Sandro staying at the club following Juve’s 2-0 friendly loss to Spurs.
“I’m not worried. We’ve worked hard in the last few days,” he said after the game.
“We did some good things. It’s true that defeats like these are bad, but we must look at the positives.
“We need to be more careful defensively and we have to work hard because the Italian League is always won by the team with the best defence.
“The team are fine, they’ve improved physically. Douglas Costa? It was the first game that he started.
“He played well until he came off and can have the same excuses as everyone else.”
“Alex Sandro is a Juventus player and he will stay one.
“Sandro joining Chelsea? No chance.”
