Max Allegri addressed the latest Juventus transfer rumours, referring to Adnan Januzaj and Henrikh Mkhitaryan as “two excellent players.”

Speaking ahead of Juve’s tricky away trip to the San Paolo to face Napoli, Allegri was asked about the reports from yesterday linking Juventus to Januzaj & Mkhitaryan.

Januzaj & Mkhitaryan are excellent players but they are owned by United & Dortmund, we have to see if we have chance to get them” Allegri told reporters.

We asked the folks at trusted Manchester United fansite The Peoples Person for their take on the prospect of Januzaj coming to Turin:

Adnan Januzaj going on loan to Juventus sounds like a good scenario on paper given his lack of game time at Manchester United this season but the reality is that he would more than likely find himself in a similar situation in Turin.

There would be no guarantees of regular game time and recent loan spells for United youngsters have been underwhelming in that they simply haven’t played enough football.

If an agreement could be found which guaranteed Januzaj plenty of minutes, then I’d be all for him moving to Juventus on loan. Otherwise, it’d be best for him to remain in Manchester.
