Italian newspaper Tuttosport claim Mario Balotelli was offered to Juventus on loan for six months.

The report from this morning’s edition of the Italian daily suggests Balotelli’s agent, Mino Raiola, called Juve to offer them his client’s services until the end of the season. The Italian striker has struggled for form since joining Liverpool in the summer and looks to leave Merseyside. The paper goes on to suggest Juventus declined the offer and are not interested.

Juventus coach Max Allegri worked with the Italian during his time at AC Milan and was asked about the player during his press conference yesterday:

“I worked with him and he had a good season with me. Mario has built a ‘persona’ outside of football that is getting more attention than what he does on the pitch.

“He has excellent qualities, but he has to show them off. He can only help himself by making sacrifices, otherwise he’ll lose his way.

“Would I like to have Balotelli in my team again? I always like to have talented players, but he needs to get back to being important for Liverpool.”
