Arturo Vidal admits ‘winning the Champions League is a dream’ and believes Juventus are still stronger than Roma this season.

Speaking to the clubs official TV channel earlier today, the Juventus midfielder was asked about his long term goals, the scudetto race and Juve’s progression in the Champions League where they face Borussia Dortmund in the last 16.

“Juventus are at the point where we must demonstrate that we’re ready to move forward in the Champions League,” Vidal told JTV.

“We have very good players, but we have to prove that on the field. I think this is the time.

“My goals? To win the fourth Scudetto, then winning the Champions League is a dream. After that, the Copa America with Chile is important for me, and for all of Chile. So this year I’ll train as hard as I can, because I want to win it all. Nothing is impossible, that’s what I’ve always said, dreams are there to be realised.”

“I think it will be a tough match with Dortmund, at the moment they’re not doing well in the League, but when they play in the Champions League they’re strong.

“They’re a step behind Bayern, but they’re a very good team with quick players. It will be a very tough match against Borussia.”

Vidal also discussed Juve’s disappointing recent league form, including the draw against Inter on Tuesday.

“In the first half against Inter, we played very well, almost a perfect performance, but in the second half they improved a lot and had more chances than us.

“That’s where we went wrong, we have to improve in the next game, give 100 per cent and stay focused until the end.

“I think we’re stronger than Roma because we’re still above them in the League. If Roma are second it’s because we have something more than them. We have a little bit more, and we have to prove it right until the end. Roma are a good team, but I think we’re still ahead of them.”
