Lyon President Jean-Michel Aulas has revealed there is already a date for their Champions League Round of 16 match with Juventus.
Les Gones won the first leg played on February 26 by a 1-0 scoreline before the competition was postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
“The game with Juventus is confirmed for August 7, in Turin behind closed doors,” Aulas told RTL France today.
“If our appeal to cancel out the stop to Ligue 1 is unsuccessful, then Olympique Lyonnais and PSG will be massacred by teams that will have full fitness when we don’t.”
Ligue has been postponed until September with the 2019-20 league title being awarded to Paris Saint-Germain while Lyon have been left outside of the qualifying places for next seasons Champions League.
