Juventus could look to Barcelona’s Martin Montoya to provide cover and add depth at in defence.
The full back has been linked with a move away from the Camp Nou on more than one occasion with Serie A often named as a potential destination. The players agent Juan De Dios Carrasco confirmed today that the players future lies away from Spain with Italy being just one of several possible destinations.
“Tomorrow there will be a meeting with Barcelona to communicate a decision we have already taken,” Carrasco confirmed to Tuttomercatoweb.
“There are clubs interested in the player in England, in Italy and in Germany. Barcelona still has the option to block the transfer, but the agent minimised that factor. It’s not Montoya’s problem nor mine. The decision has been taken, we are checking what the situation is like and what Luis Enrique’s decisions will be.
“When a Barca player like Montoya wants to leave, I don’t think the club will be opposed. The Coach decides who gets to play, but if Martin doesn’t play, then he wants to leave.Facts count more than words. I am not going to discuss who’s to blame, the most important thing now is that Martin wants to leave now.”
According to Tuttosport, Montoya could be available for between €4m and €5m with Napoli also interested in signing player. Price isn’t the only factor as our very own Enrico Passarella notes:
Montoya isn’t even cup-tied. A deal that makes more and more sense and one of those purchases Juve loves to do

With Kwadwo Asamoah and Romulo both recovering from surgery and Martin Caceres yet to return to full fitness, Juventus are reliant on Stephan Lichtsteiner, Simone Padoin and Patrice Evra in the full back roles.
One word, Rodriguez of Wolfsburg
that’s not one word, cheater 😛
On topic: would be heck of a deal if it happens
He’s my dream signing.
Forget all about Schmelzer or bringing PDC back. Rodriguez will be the best left back in a couple of seasons. We need to pay the price now before another important club does.
Paratici is flying to Barcelona today to negotiate the deal. 23 years old, not cup tied and can play at LB in place of Evra. Decent prospect if he can fit into the team well
Now, Montoya wouldn’t be a bad choice for a rightback.
I think that it’s either him, Danilo or Zappacosta. And I dont know who id prefer.
But someone mail this shopping list to Marotta:
– Lacazette
– Ricardo Rodriguez
– Calhanoglu
– Savic
– Perin
Go go go
Calhanoglu? What is that a Pro Evo master league name?
Hahah lol.
But no. He’s a 20 year old Turkish attacking midfielder from Leverkusen. Leverkusen signed him up this summer from Hamburger SV.
He got one sick right foot, I tell ya. He has scored some amazing freekick goals from far out and he has an eye for passing.
Massive prospect, and a perfect fit in that 4-3-1-2 formation.
tbh, i don’t see the 4-3-1-2 lasting long because we’ll have berardi coming in and he plays as a rw. coman can play as a cam but also a lw and to accomodate both we’d probably switch to a 4-3-3. or if we sell pogba (which i pray we wont) maybe a 4-2-3-1
He scored again today. https://www.dailymotion.com/embed/video/x2cjbop
Ricardo Rodriquez!! READ IT JUVE
Not the reason we’d sign him, but he scored a great free kick yesterday.
