Chelsea are reportedly following Gonzalo Higuain at AC Milan and a prepared to offer Alvaro Morata in exchange.

The Argentine striker is currently on loan with the Rossoneri with an option to redeem him outright in the summer.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Chelsea are still keen on signing the player they wanted in the summer, reuniting him with his old Napoli Coach, Maurizio Sarri.

The report suggests that Chelsea would take Pipita on loan with an option to buy which means they’d be buying out the remaining six months of Milan’s deal with Juve.

Milan’s ongoing issues with Financial Fair Play limitations could also mean Higuain returns to Juve earlier than expected.

The deal Chelsea propose could also see Spanish striker Alvaro Morata head to Milan as part of the deal, following his struggle to adapt to the Premier League.
