Mattia De Sciglio is the latest Juventus player to report to JMedical while Benedikt Howedes returned to the squad yesterday.

The German international joined the squad on Monday for a training session ahead of the midweek match against Fiorentina and posted an encouraging picture on his social media account:

Meanwhile, it seems De Sciglio’s injury, which he picked up against in the Champions League match against Barcelona, is more serious that previously though. A statement on the clubs official website read:

“Mattia De Sciglio underwent medical tests today that revealed a partial injury of his tibia-fibula joint.

The defender will continue his rehabilitative therapy and will be subject to daily checks, which will be required in order to prevent any potential problems further down the line.”

Sky sport Italia and La Stampa report that the layoff could see De Sciglio miss at least a month, meaning he would skip the Champions League match against Olympiacos as well as the Derby against Torino.
