Reports from Italy suggest Joao Cancelo has made it clear to his agent Jorge Mendes that he wants to join Juventus this summer.

The Portuguese right-back spent an impressive season on loan at Inter Milan and the Bianconeri are now seriously interested in bringing him to Turin, despite a failed bid last summer.

Corriere dello Sport report that Cancelo has informed his agent of his desire to join Juventus having turned down the opportunity to play in the Premier League with Wolves.

Juve have the agreement of the player but will still need to work out a deal with Valencia who are asking €40m for the talented youngster.

It’s reported the Bianconeri will offer to take the player on loan for a figure of around €5-6m with redemption obligation set at between €25-30m.

Talks are set to continue between the two clubs however Juve are also following Matteo Darmian, despite being at loggerheads with Manchester United over their valuation of the player.
