Multiple reports in Italy suggest Juventus are in talks to sign Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Mousa Dembele.
The Bianconeri are in the market for a new midfielder this summer as Stefano Sturaro and Rolandro Mandragora edge ever closer to a move to Genoa.
Sky Sport Italia report that Juventus have started talks to sign Spurs’ central midfielder Dembele but face opposition from both Inter Milan and Napoli.
Juve may have a slight advantage however, as they are closer to meeting Tottenham’s €30m asking price for the 30-year-old Belgian international whose contract ends in 2019.
La Stampa, Sportitalia and various other Italian papers and media outlets also report along similar lines, citing Juve’s need for a midfield rejuvenation as the motivation for the Demeble talks.
