Juventus are only a step away from signing CSKA Moscow midfielder Aleksandr Golovin having agreed personal terms six months ago.

A report in the Corriere dello Sport suggests that the Bianconeri have been following the Russian international for some time and reached an agreement on a move to Turin through his entourage around six months ago.

The Bianconeri were working to anticipate the interest in the player, moving ahead of Chelsea, Arsenal and Monaco who were also on the trail of the player who has given his ‘ok’ to Juventus.

The report suggests the will of the player will be decisive and Juve are working to lower CSKA’s €25m valuation with new contacts having been made yesterday and further talks expected to take place today.

Juventus value the player at closer to €17-18m and will make an offer via an intermediary for the World Cup bound midfielder.
