The father of Fluminese striker Gerson is in Italy to meet with Juventus and Inter Milan.
Interest in the Brazilian U-20 starlet has been ongoing, with Juve reported to have had a bid rejected for the 17 year old last summer. Last time round, Calciomercato suggested the Bianconeri had made a offer to sign the player on loan with an option to buy for €9m but the proposal was rejected.
Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the players father met with Juventus today while a meeting with Inter Milan is scheduled for tomorrow with a view to gauging interest in the Sub20 star.
Gazzetta journalist Mirko Graziano goes one step further by suggesting Juve have ‘taken’ the player, indicating a deal might have already been agreed.
La Juve ha praticamente preso il 17enne brasiliano Gerson: centrocampista offensivo, è considerato fra i più forti ’97 del mondo.

This guy also doesn’t ring any bells, is there some more info about him?
He was wantd by Juve last summer – WE made an offer that involved a loan and an option to buy byt Fluminese refused.
Plays as a winger, attacking midfielder or possibly second striker. Wanted by various clubs including us and inter.
Juventus are apparently ahead of other teams in terms of signing him
I see, thanks for the additional information! The demanded fee seems really high thoug, so much for a guy who isn’t well known and a Brazilian too, like JuveVidal also said, they usually don’t do very well at Juve.
we don’t really have the best track record with brazilians. 11mil seems a bit much for a 17 year old with no european experience but if marotta and paratici think he’s worth it, then why not
