Reports in the UK and Italian press suggest that Juventus are very confident of signing Aaron Ramsey on a free transfer this summer.

Reports from RAI, Sky Sport Italia, Gazzetta Dello Sport and a number of others have all pointed to Juve having all bit agreed terms with the midfielder.

The Guardian now reports that Juventus are “confident” of signing the Welsh international on a free at the end of the season having held “productive” talks with the midfielders representatives.

Juventus have reportedly offered the 28-year-old a five-year contract worth €6.5m (£5.87m) a season in an effort to see off the attentions of Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Inter Milan and Real Madrid.

Following Arsenal’s withdrawal of a new contract, it’s believed Juventus are in “pole position” to sign Ramsey and have gone so far as to ask for the midfielder in the January transfer window.

Arsenal are reluctant to let him leave in the winter however Juve may be prepared to let Germany international Sami Khedira leave Turin to be part of any potential deal.
