Juventus have had a second bid for Brazillian central defender Gabriel rejected by Lille.

The Bianconeri are seemingly in the market for another centre-back following the departure of Martin Caceres while Andrea Barzagli has retired and is expected to taking a role back-of-house.

French station RMC now report that the Bianconeri have shown strong interest in Lille defender Gabriel and had an initial €22m bid rejected.

Juve reportedly returned with an improved €25m offer which was also turned down by Les Dogues.

A number of Premier League sides are reportedly interested in the 21-year-old.
