Paul Pogba is expected to leave Manchester United this summer and would prefer a move to Juventus over Real Madrid.
The Frenchman has hinted that his time in the Premier League could be over following a dismal season with United that saw them fail to qualify for next seasons Champions League.
Speaking in Japan he told supporters:
“For me I have been for three years in Manchester and have been doing great; some good moments and some bad moments, like everybody. Like everywhere else.
After this season and everything that happened this season, with my season being my best season as well… I think for me it could be a good time to have a new challenge somewhere else.
I am thinking of this – to have a new challenge somewhere else.”
Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio reports that there is ‘continuous contact and a desire to prepare everything’ for Pogba’s return in Turin.
For his part, the player has apparently expressed a ‘stronger will’ to start a new challenge with Juve than Real Madrid.
Pogba’s salary and transfer fee is expected to be a challenge for the Bianconeri who may not be able to meet his €15m salary, however the club are expected to offer players in exchange in an effort to reduce the cost.
