Juventus remains keen on adding Angel di Maria to their squad in this summer’s transfer window as he walks free from PSG.
The winger has remained one of the world’s finest attackers and he showed that in Argentina’s recent match against Italy, where he scored a stunning goal.
His time at top clubs like Real Madrid, Manchester United and PSG means he would arrive at Juve almost certainly ready to do a job for the club.
However, the Bianconeri are not putting all their eggs in one basket, according to Tuttomercatoweb.
The report says even though they remain confident about their chances of signing Di Maria, they are still prepared to move for Filip Kostic, Nicolo Zaniolo or Domenico Berardi.
These players fit the bill, but Di Maria has more experience and an operation to bring him to the Allianz Stadium will cost significantly less.
Juve FC Says
Di Maria is one player we absolutely have to sign because the Argentinian will bring expertise and experience to our dressing room.
Max Allegri’s squad needs a player that has won several trophies in his career because he will easily inspire the others to step up their performance.
why? they are only half attacking, and for 60 minutes a game. an attacking player couldn`t move to a worse coach, ask Vlahovic who is PROVEN, despite the company line being pulled and STILL making him the scapegoat.
Berardi is a better fit. He will set up Dusan many time over and can finish. Oh yeah, he also can give you at least 2-3 more years of high level football.
We really need a good deep lying playmaker if Allegri gonna try to win using counter attacks. We had Pirlo and Pjanic and had success with them. Our midfield quality drops a lot after Pjanic left and the highest priority should be to fix that.
I agree with the club’s biggest need being a registra. Pjanic was a step down from Pirlo and its been downhill ever since. I’m not sure I see Pogba in that role. It’s not Locatelli’s best position either. Obviously we need to replace Georgio and most likely Morata. I don’t understand this nonsense about Cuadrado. The man has been the club’s most consistent performer for years. And then there’s his versatility. Would love to see an upgrade for Alex Sandro, but that 7M salary will be difficult to unload. And good luck getting Ramsey and his 7M off the books. I do hope they make their major moves early in the cycle. Bringing in players later in the window and/or after the season has started really hurts integrating them into the team.
