Juventus and AC Milan are being linked with a possible move for PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
The French midfielder revealed that he is looking for a move away from the French champions in the hope of securing more playing time.
Speaking to French TV program Telefoot, Rabiot revealed that he hopes to leave his current club in the upcoming transfer window.
“If I was playing on a regular basis I would probably have different thoughts, but I have asked the president to sell me on loan if I’d spend less playing time in the future. In the past seasons I’ve never even listened to proposals from other clubs.”
The 20-year-old midfielder was previously linked with moves to Juventus and Roma along with some Premier League clubs.
According to Calciomercato.com, Juve are in the lead to sign the player on a loan option to provide more versatility in midfield.
More playing time and move to us? I rather doubt that will do any of us good. A bit part role at best. Milan might be the better option for him
He won’t find more playing time in our squad once Asamoah, Khedira, Lemina and Pererya are all fit. We were very interested in him in the Summer of 2014 as his contract was expiring this year I suspect, yet he signed a new contract with PSG making any transfer far more costly. I cannot see how he would get more playing time in our squad than he has found at PSG…Likely just player/agent whining for attention…unless…PSG are keen to offer a loan with right to purchase, but at what fee eh? We have money to spend on a midfielder in January as well as a right back as Caceres will be shipped out I suspect due to a mixture of poor judgement off the field and constant injuries rendering him far more often unavailable than available.
Exactly, this is why I doubt this move, it likely wont happen and if it does it doesnt really look like a valuable move for anyone
