As negotiations for Danilo come to a standstill, Juventus are turning their attention to Milan’s Mattia De Sciglio.

Juve’s pursuit of Danilo was previously reported to be coming to a close, as suggested by Spanish paper AS, however various reports in Italy have suggested that Juve and Real are at loggerheads over the price of player. The Bianconeri have offered close to €15m while the Spanish champions value the Brazilian full-back at closer to €20m.

With no progress in the search for a right-back, attention has turned to Milan full-back Mattia De Sciglio, who Sporting Director Mirabelli confirmed was set to leave the club.

Sky Sport Italia pictured Giovanni Branchini in Milan earlier today, and it’s since been reported that he met with Bianconeri directors to discuss a possible transfer for the 24-year-old who was first handed his debut under Max Allegri. Allegri is reportedly keen on bringing De Sciglio to Turin to take over the right-back position following Dani Alves’ departure.

Branchini is also an intermediary for Douglas Costa who has been linked with a move to Juventus for the last month, and while a deal is yet to materialise, it’s possible that he may have discussed the possible transfer of the Brazilian. The only stumbling block appears to be Bayern Munich’s search for a replacement for the winger and it’s suggested that once they secure a new signing, Costa will be free to leave.
