Juventus have made their first official bid for Federico Bernardeschi and are edging ever closer to agreeing terms for the player.
The Bianconeri are pushing ahead in their pursuit of the 23-year-old and the initial signs are encouraging, if you put any stock in the newspapers and media.
Having confirmed to Fiorentina that he wishes to leave the club, it’s reported by Sky Sport Italia and others that the player would prefer to join Juventus over the other options available to him which are thought to include Chelsea and Manchester United.
The Gazzetta Dello Sport reports that Juventus have agreed terms with the versatile forward to the tune of a €4m per year on a 4-year-contract.
This follows on from a Sky Sport Italia report that suggests the Bianconeri have made their first official bid for Bernardeschi: €40m and a further €2m in bonuses. Despite the high offer, Fiorentina are expected to reject it in favour of €40m up front with a further €10m in bonuses.
Either way, it seems Juve are actively pursuing Berna having identified him as a target some time ago with Max Allegri very fond of the player.
