Juventus are scheduled to meet with Sevilla today to discuss a transfer for Steven N’Zonzi.

The Bianconeri are in the market for a hard-working, combative midfielder to restore some strength to the centre of the pitch and according to Gazzetta Dello Sport, N’Zonzi is the player Allegri wants for the position.

According to the report, Juve are expected to meet with Sevilla today to discuss terms for the player who has already given his consent to a transfer, with Juve reportedly offering him a salary of 5m per year.

Sevilla are holding out for 40m which is the figure in the player release clause, however Beppe Marotta could start negotiations by offering 30m, aided by the will of the player who wants to join Juventus.

CorSport also confirm the expected meeting but suggest that Juve have a list of alternatives to look to, if they aren’t able to find terms with the Andalusian club. Fabinho of Monaco and Liverpool’s Emre Can are other options,  while Andres Iniesta, who was linked previously, will only become a target if he decides not to renew with Barçelona and decides to look for a new experience abroad.
