Juventus are ever closer to reaching an agreement with Paulo Dybala over a contract extension.

La Joya was close to leaving the Bianconeri last summer but ultimately turned down offers from Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Paris Saint-Germain.

Dybala has stepped up his form this season, proving to be a decisive goalscorer in both Serie A and the Champions League, second only to Cristiano Ronaldo.

Talking to the Juventus fansite Juventibus, journalist Romeo Agresti confirmed that Juve and Dybala have taken positive steps forward for a renewal of the Argentine’s contract.

The contract extension is not imminent, but will come soon and will see Dybala earn €10-11m a season.
