Juventus have entered negotiations for Porto’s Jackson Martinez, according to Italian site Calciomercato.
While initial reports are sketchy and only seem to appear on Calciomercato.it, the website are suggesting Juventus have already entered into negotiations with Porto for their Colombian striker.
The Bianconeri are currently working on a loan deal for Portuguese defender Rolando and may have possibly turned their attentions to Martinez as well, during discussions with Porto.
According to Calciomercato, negotiations will not be straight forward and are unlikely to be resolved in the winter transfer window. Porto value the striker at around the €35m mark, a figure Juventus are not prepared to meet as they prefer to include players in the deal.
Juventus are supposedly beginning their search for a striker following Carlos Tevez’ admission that he would not be renewing with the Bianconeri beyond the end of his existing contract which runs until 2016.

Not such a bad deal to go for him, but not for that price, waaaay too much
Gabbi to Napoli for 13M, good deal ???
It’s a fine deal imo.
We get almost 7 million out of the deal, and I dont think that he would’ve been a succes at Juve this year anyway.
Now we just need to put this money into a deal that we need. A left back or a trequartista.
Any headline that ends in a question mark is BS. Moving on.
amen….even though i wrote it…amen 😉
LOL I’ve learned that reading football-italia.net
it’s because of all the italian dailies – You learn to trust one and out of the blue, they spout bullshit from nowhere ! Is it genuine ? it it Bs ? I read TS /GdS/La Stampa headlines in the morning and they are very rarely reporting the same thing !
It is unfortunate they have to manufacture news and report unreliable rumors to keep the public hooked. I think Juve are in good enough shape that I don’t entertain any big rumors in this winter window because they are unnecessary and uneconomical.
